From the 8th to 12th December in Lisbon has developed the competition EuroSkills 2010, the European Olympic Training. Some 500 youngsters have competed in 50 different profiles to demonstrate their professional skills and to inform society of the good work of these studies.
Spain participated in this year with a team of 21 participants who have obtained very good results. have been awarded the following medals:
- Pol House, (Canary Islands), gold medal, specializing in web design and team silver medal in Cross Media Publishing. Miguel
- Cubillas (Asturias), gold medal in the specialty of carpentry.
- Victor Vera (Andalucia), gold medalist in the art CNC Machinist wood. José M ª
- Puelles (Extremadura), bronze medalist in the specialty of Woodworking.
- Miguel, Victor and José M ª have also obtained the silver medal in team Woodcraft Technologies.
have obtained Diploma of Excellence for their participation:
- Beatriz Avila (Castilla - La Mancha), specializing in kitchen and teamwork of Cook & Serve .
- Christian Etter (Illes Balears), specializing in restaurant service and teamwork Cook & Serve.
- Aaron Diaz (Canary Islands), specializing in Industrial Control.
Education Minister, Ángel Gabilondo, received this afternoon at the Barajas Airport to the English team and congratulated all the kids for their effort and the excellent results obtained.
