Course organized by the Natural Museum of Natural Sciences and directed by the curator and restorer of heritage Angel Power Co., which aims to provide tools that facilitate the understanding and management of valuable and historical heritage photo albums.
Over five days, the course will provide students with knowledge to characterize, diagnose and maintain albums. From a theoretical perspective and practice, study materials, types, systems description, patterns of deterioration, protection techniques, among others.
archivists librarians, paper conservators, curators, collectors and all those responsible for the custody and preservation of historical photographic originals.
The course will be held in the Boardroom National Museum of Natural Sciences of 22 to 26 November and costs of 135 euros (115 for Friends of the Museum).
